Well first of all I'd like to say thanks to all that turned up at our first club meeting on Saturday at the "Queen's Pantry" tea room in Leavenworth, Kansas.
I'd like to thank Neil for making the speech that day as I was dog tired from getting things ready for the meeting from the night before, so was still a little tired, so cheers to Neil.
It was certainly a good turnout for our first meeting.
It was great to finally meet you all and put faces to the various emails and phone calls that I'd made between most of you.
I hope all of you who brought guests liked the club and that your guests may want to join the club and be at our next get together.
The staff at the tearoom were great as usual and the food was certainly welcome as well as the endless cups of tea.
Hope you all liked the food as well and that you'll take a jaunt upto the tearoom at another time.
Some of us actually went on to take a look around the town and see some very interesting places around it.
One place that we can all reccommend is the "Carousel Museum" which is on Esplanade St along the riverfront, about 3 blocks east of the tearoom.

We'll also be adding some more pictures taken by various members at our first meeting to this page soon.
If you have any pictures that you took and would like to see them posted to the site then please let us know.
Also, if you would like not to have your picture posted to this page then please let us know.
Thanks again for coming and we hope to see you all again soon.
Regards
Ray.......
